I took ‘the little things’ assignment quite literally. Instead of focusing on the moments, I tried my hand at creating with clusters of little things. My favorite part of this layout is the frame filled with rainbow enamel dots. It's fun, bright + graphic - just my style.I started the page with layers of bright, bold and contrasting patterns from Glitz and Crate Paper's Party Day. Next came the chipboard frames arranged in a tile pattern slightly off center. I filled one of the frames with a collection of little wood pieces to add texture to the center of the page. The last row of little things are the cork arrows at the bottom of the page. They ground the layout and draw the eye towards the large title and hidden journaling. These photos are from a Disney cruise vacation. They include both big and little moments at Castaway Cay. The clusters of little things add bright pops of color and frame out the photos. Creating in miniature was a challenge and a pleasure!
