This was for the srapbook the person before you challenge. I was really inspired by Njr007 You color my life layout. I first thought of using some metallic water colors to paint the background in colored pawprints using a stencil I have. The watercolors were a little to wet and the paint bled. I got the idea then to paint the stencil and apply to paper and run it on doing a reverse image. I did like how it came out. I let the paint tubs dry a little a then did a page with the pawprints. I could not decide which I liked better and so I combined them. My new dog Comet was the perfect subject for this page and I changed the title to You make me Laugh as he does! I thought it would be fun to print the photos in various colors. After losing both of my boys Copper and Baxter last year the whole atmosphere of the house seemed to change. We still had Blossom and we love her but the boys brought an energy to the house especially Copper who was always doing something. There was a sadness and we definatly felt there non presence. We started looking to get another dog. We adopted Comet and he has brought so much happpiness into out life. My husband and I cannot remember when we have laughed so much. He is such a character with so much personality and Blossom and him love each other.
