Oh, that poor little kitty. I'm glad she is doing OK. Love the color of her coat. She looks almost silver. Love the kitty paws paper and your distressed edges. Bright and fun.
I really love the color scheme you picked here. It brings out the color of her beautiful grey coat and the whole design just pulls you into her facial expression and those big green eyes. She may have some physical limitations, but she is a beautiful cat. Your layout proves it.
The look on her face! "I said NO I do not want my picture taken!" I absolutely of the distressed layers and the banner and misting. You picked up the feel of the photo background int he over layout. Terrific!
Tks for sharing the background story. Sweet pic, cute paws paper and a pretty doily. (Our son's dog has a nerve close to the surface under his arm and he will yelp if he is handled in that area.)
This is Gracie. She and her sister, Daisy, turn 7 this year. Daisy is super photogenic with her black and, white coloring. Gracie is harder to photograph because she blends into things. I captured this photo last month on our patio swing. She looks like a big cat in this photo but she was the runt of the litter and is still somewhat small. She has used 4 of her 9 lives. She has no fear. We used to call her kamikaze cat. Something wild crushed her skull on the left side and miraculously she lived. Her left eye is slightly smaller because she has a soft spot above that eye where the bone was crushed. We think that incident rewired her personality a little bit. She does not like to be held at all! She can be loving on you and 3 seconds later scratch the snewy out of you! We still love her but handle her with care.
This was designed for June Scrapbook Your Pet. June Pick a Technique, I used all 3. I punched a piece with an old EK notebook edge punch. Spritzed background with Tattered Angels Black Magic and Silver Sugar. Distressed papers with old Making Memories Distress tool. Also submitted for June 5 Ingredients Challenge. Polka Dot, background paper.Washi tape, gold bars above ribbon, hearts, stars, button is red star on journaling spot that I cut the shank off of. I used the super cute Echo Park MEOW Collection. Also entered into June Sticker Challenge with twist. An 8 became an S and a U became an N.
