This is beautiful! I remember having something small, but all brass that had candles and the thing on top went around and you heard little bells. This has got to be what the little things were. It was in the mid 70's that I had it. But this one - WOW - just stunning. Would love to see this!
Oh I love these pyramids. When I was a little girl, we used to go to Frankenmuth in Michigan at Christmas time. They always had a bunch of them with different scenes. You are taking me back and jogging my memory with your beautiful layout. Thanks for sharing.
Journaling - Also on the square was this wooden pyramid - a traditional German decoration with its roots in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) of Germany and is believed by many to be the predecessor of the Christmas tree. This one has 4 tiers: bottom - creche scene, 2nd - Nutcrackers, 3rd - snowmen, 4th - angels. Top - roof with wood blades. Each tier and the blades revolves. Candles with lights on each tier. Handcrafted in Germany and dedicated Nov. 27, 2009.
Used up some 6x6 pad - MME, pp strip - HOTP, alphas - Basic Grey, stickets - HOTP Dazzles
