The bow tie really has to stay. I dont care for it too much myself, but it is special to my dh and fil. And my dh really wants me to keep it in there. And there really is no where else to put it. It really does kind of grow on you.

You could remove it and add a small stamp with the date or the names. But if it has special meaning, leave it right where it is." ditto here. or maybe a smaller bow? I looked at the before and the after. I like the after. :) The epaulets are a nice touch. In this case, better than the fibers. Very nicely done!

I used modge podge for most of it. The rest I used Elmers spray adhesive. Everything seems to be holding pretty good.

wow thats great. i love doing canvas boards, how do you get your paper to stay? i use modge podge but that seems to buckle up even when i press out the wrinkles
