I agree, love this, too. When I scrapped I used 99% computer because no one can read my writing. It's wonderful and a perfect way to "tell your story"!
I never thought to do a page like this; very creative. Even though I've been in that "neck of the woods" a few times, I've never encountered snow there. I look back and wish that I had taken more photos, or just journaled more back in my younger days when I did do more traveling, etc. I really like how this turned out.
Great design for your page. Your journaling was interesting. The snowflake placement is striking. Like too the way you stamped the dots on the black mat.... heavier on the one side toward the snowflakes. Like the torn white mat too... all of that makes me think of snow of course. Some great highway images as well. Like the arched "road" above the car and the repetition of that idea in the ribbon choice. All in all - so well done! And finally, glad you didn't have to deal with "driving blizzard".... been through far too many of those where I'm at.
I didn't have any photos for this event but had journaled about it and finally got around to telling the story, only 2 years after I scrapped all the photos from this vacation - LOL! Challenges include: 1. Scrap With Your Scraps - white cardstock for snowflakes, black and dark blue cardstock. 2. Use Your Stamp s- title. 3. 50+ words and printed on my computer. 4. June Daily Inspiration for 6/3 - used lots of snowflakes and at least three are identical (even though they wouldn't be in real life).
