Cool tip! I can't use fabric softeners because I have scent allergies, so this might work for me!

I have heard of this but never tried it. Sometimes I just use white vinegar in my wash. It's a natural softener also.

No, this is not suppose to be green! But, it helps our Planet Earth. Did you know a ball of aluminium foil can be used as a fabric softener? I saw it while browsing on www.swagbucks.com and gave it a try. It really does work! Just wad up a ball of foil about 3" in diameter and toss in the dryer. It softens loads for up to 6 months! A lot cheaper and better than dryer sheets.
