I think it's a pretty combination. I usually avoid grey too for some reason but my mom has it all through her house and it looks great. I love it with your cayenne pepper!
Nice color choices! I think I'll have to see the white trim with it when it's finished, but if it looks good in your head, it should look good all tied together! =) Personally, I'm a color person. I did away with the white walls a long time ago. Color just seems to make the home more homey.
I really like this. I dont much care for grey either, but this looks good. I've seen that cayenne color with an avocado green before... looked good too.
The accent wall is called Cayenne Pepper (go to your kitchen, take a look at your cayenne pepper - and that's pretty much accurate) It's red, with a hint of orange. I love it. The tiled floor will be the dark grey (Graphica) and it will also be the bottom of the walls (if you look at one of the pictures of the whole room, you will see that the room has a beadboard on the bottom - that will be this color). The upper part of the walls will be the light grey - Rock Oyster. And all my trim will be given a fresh coat of crisp white. It looks good in my head, so I'm sure hoping that it will look great once it's painted.
I really don't like grey - but I'm loving how it looks with the red color. So here's hoping I love it on my walls too.
