The journelling is quite extensive, so bear with me. PROS -fireplace in family room -patio doors -sandbox and treehouse (seen through patio doors) -garden door between dining room and future library/office -future scraproom -white cabinets and green walls in kitchen -playrooms in two of the upstairs bedrooms -central air -bigger space - inside and outside -new windows and siding
The Story (I'll just make this part simple) May 4th - Bible Study told us about a house on 12th St. There were 2 other couples from Bible Study already on 12th St. May 5th - we look at house May 7th - we meet with Bank, they approve us for new mortgage. Look at house again. Decide who to sell our house through May 8th - 9:30am - placed bid 10:30am they took bid 11am met with realtor to sign paperwork. May 10th - for sale sign goes up at our place at 2, by 3 we had a booking for the 11th at 1:15pm - cruise through the "to do" list May 11th - show house, 4pm their financing goes through, they place bid. May 12th - we counter May 13th - they took counterbid. House is sold.
CONS -ugly neon yellow walls in future scraproom (A friend called it purtresent!) -unfinshed basement -low ceiling in most of basement -dingy laundry room -blue "sponged" bathroom -blue master bedroom -blue kids room with peeling glow-in-the-dark space wallpaper -really, really old garage
