This layout started with the bold red striped paper. I wanted to use it in a big way, not just a little sliver of it. I paired it with two other patterned papers that were a little more neutral to help balance it out. Also by placing the photo on top of a layered neutral patterned paper it doesn't get lost in the bold red stripes. To offset the bold horizontal stripes I decided to make my title vertical. I cut it using the Silhouette. The font is Cursive Standard. I glittered the ‘best’ to make it stand out a bit. From there I just added in the little details. To help ‘ground’ the circle stickers I did a little machine stitching from the edge.*On a sad note, the dog literally ate this layout.:( I left it on the floor after taking the photos of it. Luckily the picture is okay, so you'll probably see it scrapped again soon.:)
