This week's lessons are on Repetition and Emphasis.I actually combined the two lessons in creating my {happy} layout. For Repetition, I love using the same photo edited in a variety of ways on a page - especially when it's a photo I love like this one! By simply editing and cropping in different ways, it forces the viewer to consider different aspects of the same photo. And just a bit of kismet here - I actually had a bunch of journaling planned for this layout but as I procrastinate, ahem, *multitask* a lot when I scrap I happened across this John Lennon quote on a blog I follow. It was perfect. So I used it and scrapped the journaling. This said it so much better than what I had planned! For Emphasis, I isolated the quote on a page by itself. It's pretty fantastic and by allowing it to shine on it's own on the right half of the page, it elevates it's importance (I originally had it in the small spot in the middle right of the photo page where the initial embellishment now resides)
