I made this card for the Stencil Me In, Embellish This, and Get Glitzy challenges.I used a large edge punch to make a stencil ( picture 3) and used red acrylic paint with a sponge dabber to do the actual stencilling, applying it more heavily at one side and fading it out towards the other. this formed a background for the card. (picture 4) I stamped the dog and bird image with Memento ink, coloured it with Copics and used a glue pen and loose red glitter to glitter up the two hearts (picture 2 shows a bit more glitter detail), inked the edges with bright magenta pink ink, and matted on a piece of red card stock. Then I added three fabric flowers and topped them with tiny white pearls. I wrapped a ribbon around the whole piece and added a jeweled heart paper clip with a stamped sentiment, then mounted the whole thing on a pink and red patterned card base. Thanks for looking.
