I was inspired by fall but needed birthday cards so decided to make this card for someone with a fall birthday.All the components on the front ( leaves, branch, ovals and banner) were cut using my electronic cutting machine. The bottom brown oval was stamped with an all over background stamp in eggshell white and clear embossed, the leaves were then pounced with distress inks to try and imitate the uneven colouring seen in real fall leaves, the branch had some liquid pearl accents added, and the banner was stamped with the sentiment (Colorbox cocoa brown) and heat embossed.The inside is stamped with a simple fall tree stamp (one of those inexpensive bin ones from Michaels. ) This inside decoration is so simple that at first, I hesitated to post it to the card insides challenge, in comparison with some of those very detailed and decorated insides but, in the end, decided that it gave an example of dressing up a card without going to a lot of extra time and effort, so decided to link it up for the other rushed or lazy peas like me.
