I started this project as part of the medal swap and then since the medal was Halloween themed decided to add a Halloween card to use as a holder for the medal. The medal top part is made of two layers of black card stock glued together and cut out with a Spellbinders die then backed with orange card stock. I added a tiny spider web stamped on black and embossed with pearl powder to the centre and worked some beads into the holes around the centre of the die cut. The bottom part is made of heavy watercolour paper mounted on orange, and then black card stock, each layer fussy cut. I edged the outer parts of top and bottom with some silver ink. The ribbon joining them is a silver grey satin ribbon stamped with the spider in versamark ink then embossed with black powder. I added a safety pin to the top of the medal so it could be worn.It would take too long to go into all the details about the card construction but, if you have any specific questions, please ask and I'll try to answer.Daniel did point out that the inside of this card might qualify for the Insides of Cards Challenge so I'm linking it to that challenge thread too.
