I made this for the SOF12 Let it Snow Challenge. The object of the challenge was to demonstrate a ways to “make snow ” on our project.I made a giant gift tag for my snowy project. The tag itself and the white frame, I cut from blue and white CS on my die cutting machine, from a couple of simple files that I made using MTC software. The frame included some snowy ‘hills’ at the bottom and a cloud shape at the top. Then, my favourite trick for making snow, I stamped the blue tag with white pigment ink, using a scatter dot pattern BG stamp. Then I heat embossed with white EP.I stamped the snowman on white card stock with a Stamp from a Recollections Christmas set ( Sorry I don't know the name, I've misplaced the packaging somewhere along the way) coloured him with copies and cut him out.The Let it snow stamp came from a small set from Michael's dollar stamp bin. I shaded around the words a bit with pale blue copics to give more depth.I ran an MS fine tip glue pen over the edges of the snow hills on the frame and around the sentiment stamp and sprinkled with Clearsnap glitter ( winter frost colour, I think).I also stamped two outline stars using Stampendous Winter Wonderland EP to heat emboss then filled the centres with glue and silver glitter and cut out.Assembled everything using foam pop things for the sentiment and attached a red ribbon.
