This is a great layout. Such a tribute to your mom and grandmother. I can so understand how you felt. I have never liked my name either. I'm named after no one, just a name my mother liked. It's amazing that all those things we say to our kids eventually sink in and they get it!!

Aurelia & Ruth

Layout I did of my mom and grandma, both of whom I am named after. I struggled with my name a lot when I was younger, but have come to appreciate it now! Journaling reads: My mother and Grandmother. Both women have such an impact on my life. As I've grown up more and more I appreciate the lessons they taught me while I was youger. I must admit I didn't always want to listen to what they had to say - but somehow their words stuck and I find myself recalling them now. As a child, my name was very difficult to have - no one could pronounce it, and I was so embarrased by it. As an adult, I am proud to have been named after my mom and grandma!
