Thank you MicheleD_utah for sponsoring the Keep it Local challenge and to stampwilly for sponsoring the Framed challenge.I live in South Florida, can you tell? Haha! I tore FL out of a USA map and glued it to watercolor paper. The sentiment was stamped on the ocean part of the map, adhered to cs and trimmed to form a banner.I inked the edge of the map and watercolor paper with Antique Linen distress ink. I rubbed Versamark ink along the edges and embossed with hand mixed sparkle embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle, which happens to be a Florida company. The name of the EP is “Hit the Beach”! It looks like glittering sand. What Makes it Local ?We have lots of hot sun here. I live in flip flops or sandals! We have palm trees in our yard, and yes I have water-skied but it has been awhile :)What Makes it Framed ?I framed my project with glitter embossing powder.I used lots of stampsI put two tiny gem stickers on the sandals and lots of pearls on the sun and a SU candy dot on the banner. Thanks Michele, and April! This was a lot of fun to make. It was also inspired by Lickeyann's map craft challenge.Stamps : Viva Las Vegastamps - skier Stampendous - Tropicscape (I used half of the stamp with palms) Custer's Last Stamp - sentiment (Custer's was also based in FL) Hampton Arts - flip flops, fish, sunEP : Sparkle N Sprinkle “Hit the Beach”Embellishments : Stampendous Class a Peel dot sparklers Queen & Co Yellow Sunrise pearlsTFL!
