This was in Becky Higgin's latest book. Hopefully you'll be able to read the journaling better here–it's all about how hard nursing was for us at first. Will had a medical condition that made nursing exquisitely painful–I often cried through the nursing session and usually needed Nic to help calm me down enough to relax so my milk could let down. It took two weeks to figure out what was wrong and get a nursing shield, which helped turn the pain into just discomfort until Will grew into his palate when he was about three months old. I wasn't about to give up, though–nursing is incredibly important to me, and I'm so glad I stuck to it. PP and letter stickers are from Basic Grey. Thanks for looking!
