Carrie, this is awesome! I love the photo and the lo, but the best part is definitely your journaling. This inspires me to open up more in my own journaling.
Carrielyn, I love your attention to detail on this lo. It's beautiful! The photo is adorable of Evan, and the journaling is so sweet and personal. I also really like the photo frames. Nice job! :)

Great layout!! Everyone has told us the same thing about not being able to do the things we do now when we have a child. Thanks for the insight that things don't have to change!!
I distressed the letters in the title, and also the background cardstock by rubbing them over a black stamp pad.
The large journal block reads: When I was pregnant with Evan, everyone kept telling me that my "life was going to change." They told me over and over that Mark and I wouldn't be able to do the things we "normally" did. No more camping, no more weekend fishing trips, all of that was going to be a thing of the past.
Evan's first camping trip came when he was just 3 months old! Not only were Mark and I still able to enjoy the things we loved, but to make them more perfect, Evan enjoyed them too! Everything was bright and beautiful and new to him, and he loved to explore his new surroundings.
The smaller box reads: The still moments spent looking at the beauty of nature, and the nights sitting in front of a crackling fire will be some of my very fondest memories from this summer. Those quiet weekends with my boys, away from the noise and demand of the city, have taken me closer to Paradise than I thought possible on this earth.
