I took a break from my Disney album to do this. My granddaughter finally uploaded her pictures from her cellphone and I have so been waiting to see how it turned out. Journaling reads, "It was a cloudy, dreary day in January and we were in the car on our way to Pittsburgh. Route 666, in the back woods of Pennsylvania, is pretty isolated this time of year. All was quiet except perhaps the motor of our car as we traveled along side Tionesta Creek, the swift moving stream that separates miles and miles of wooded hills, completely bare and absent of foliage this time of year. Sometimes when we travel this road, we spot a deer or two or maybe raccoon, wild turkey or other small game common to the area, but never have we been so lucky as we were on this day... Right above the windshield, Bill's keen eyes spotted this beautiful eagle pearched on the branch above us. He gazed right at us, almost appearing to pose for a photograph. Kaylin fumbled for her cellphone as we quietly positioned ourselves to snap this picture, less than perfect, but we got it just the same. Within just a few seconds, he tired of accomodating our human behavior or perhaps spotted something far more interesting, spread his magestic wings, swooped down into the creek and disappeared."
