Give a Cheer
Steampunk tag Lots of layering. I started with a #8 tag cut on my Silhouette and then added ink using a Tim Holtz Stipe Stencil inking with Rusty Hinge, Ripe Persimmon, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey. I added Faded Jeans Distress Ink here and there. Next I printed and cut Mr. Lincoln and layed him down with some Matte Medium Gel. I stamped the background with a script stamp, stamped the crown and butterflies (fussy cut) with Tim Holtz stamps and Archival ink. I used Copper Stickles over the crown and inked the butterflies with Faded Jeans and Wild Honey. I then added some Perfect Pearls to make them all shimmery. I then added some old washi tape I had and inked the clocks with Dina Wakley's Raw Umber. The quote, was printed on my Silhouette. I added some strips of paper painted with the Umber and glued everything down. I added Finnabaire glass beads in Rust and Better and tied a bow at the top.
