I sure like the technique of using the liquid chalk on the embellishments. I've only seen the ads for the liquid chalk but haven't seen them used yet. I sure wish I could see the photos on your layout. Why can't you show the pictures? Is there a copyright or something? Without the pictures it's just a layout. Pictures really do speak a thousand words. So, unfortunately it takes away from what you were trying to do without the pictures. Jeannine

This is the layout that I submitted to the CK layout contest at Expo. I removed it previously because of some pettiness on my sister-in-laws part - long icky stoyr - but have since distorted the pictures and am reposting it! Trust me - the pics are great. They show my older brother interacting with his children - very sweet. The journaling talks about my relationship with my brother. Also, this layout illustrates how I used the Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink to color the metal embellishments! Isn't it terrific?
