This is gorgeous! I must check the gallery every day, and I just don't, so end up missing awesome uploads. I love what you did with this. I used to burn Christmas carol lyrics printed on parchment, for Christmas cards in the past. It does give a neat look.
Love it. So pretty. Awesome array of layers. I once burned the candles on a birthday card I made to give it that authentic look and loved it. The key was blowing out the burn before it got too far. LOL
I just love your technique work, Carri!! That is the COOLEST!!! The frame treatment and those little disc beads or awesome!! Pretty butterflies and layers!! What did you use on the frame? Embossing powders? Ya know, if I tried to burn the edges of papers, I would most likely burn down my Craft Palace!!! LOL You are so clever!
This card is gorgeous..The frame is totally amazing. To think that you made this from a white diecut blows my mind. It is thick and glossy with such color complexity. Love those adorable beads and the butterflies. Fabulous layering. Love love love.
Card created for a sweet swap friend. The frame die cut I received from the die cut swap. Unfortunately I did not write down who sent it, but I love it and wish I had more. The paper is Stamperia Garden. If you look at the edges you can see where I burned it with a lighter. Really like the effect. The book page behind the butterflies I aged with yellow iron oxide paint.
