I love the way you use ordinary day to day items to make something amazing. I always wonder about your projects whether they are visions that you bring to life or come together as you work. In any case, this is fabulous.
Holy cow!!! That's amazing, Carri!!! I wish I could see it IRL too!! I have three wooden spools that I've saved not knowing how to use them! I know there must be something I can do. They held wide ribbon from Craft Warehouse. I've been thinking of painting them and adding something to the top of them, like you've done here. I'm just not into Halloween, but this is sure cute and I love the added zipper.
Ditto Laura’s wicked cool comment. This is so fabulous. Love the zipper on the roof. Love love love the triple stack of pumpkins. The face is totally creepy and the seaglass is the perfect touch.
Wowzers!!! I love how this turned out, so very cool!!! Yes, I'm certain that IRL its amazing!!! Photos never do our project work justice, but this awesome Carri!!!
Really difficult to get a photo I liked. I did remove the ghost at the top; need to change the color. I used a yarn spool as the base, added chipboard and a tiny house die cut. The face is from Prima relics and artifacts resin. I added a zipper to the roof of the larger house. The vine is BFS. The smaller house I added a die cut web and gala glitz art glitter to the roof. I gessoed everything black and dry brushed paint and used waxes. The base of the house I used Mudd Puddles sea glass and Renea Bouquets beautiful beads. I wish you could see it IRL. It's so much cooler than in this photo.
