After taking nearly a dozen photos of this page I gave up. This was the best I could do. It looks so much better IRL.

Our DGD Meagan posted the above tribute to her grandfather on Veteran's Day. We don't do Instagram, or any of the other social media networking for that matter, but our DD show it to us and sent a copy to our e-mail. Both DH and I teared up just a little. The picture she included with the post was taken last May after Meagan pitched a no-hitter for her high school softball team. She's in her first year of college now.

This is what she wrote – Happy Veterans Day to the best grandfather around! So proud of your service to the country and so blessed to know such a hard working and loving man! Can't wait for Thanksgiving break to like him all week!!!! Miss him so much … not seeing him at church every week and getting in trouble with mom because we talk too much and goof around! What a blessed girl I am.

The lower photo was taken when DH was stationed on DMZ in Korea in 1968. He was part of the military police serving in Joint Security Area. He was there when the Pueblo crew was released.

Thank you Elizabeth (Eapipkin) for the beautiful hanging sign die cut and thank you Marylou (Meggies Nana) for beautiful Lace Hearts Die cuts.
