Up Close!

I used my well hoarded Basic Grey Granola paper as a background for this very special memory!

I love the beautiful and graceful giraffes and was treated to a very close and personal moment, when one of the gorgeous creatures walked over to the wooden fence. A special walkway allowed me to be at the same height as the giraffe's head. She took a mouthful of hey and then turned to look me straight in the eye. I could have touched her but I was too much in awe of the moment and just cherished this brief but very personal encounter. I took the photos with my mobile phone and remember shaking so much I thought I messed up the snapshot, but it turned out perfect!
