What's the Buzz?

The seal of my hometown has a bee on it and bees are a theme throughout the city so I used bees for the theme of this layout. I cut 4 strips of a double sided cardstock, making sure the lines matched up in the middle. A bee cardstock with a yellow background was used for the top section while a behive on a white background was used for the bottom. I added a strip of black, sparkly washi tape between the beehive and floral cardstocks. Photos were matted in black to stand out from the backgrounds. The title was cut from the same black cardstock and the word "buzz" was also cut from yellow cardstock, cut in half and attached to the black "buzz" to imitate the strips on a bee. A few stickers were added to finish the layout.
