For the Clean & Simple Group Challenge. Had to use Fall/Indian Summer Colors as well as techniques of distressing and layering. I am thinking of adding a 'frame' over the picture and need to add a hidden journaling tag under the bottom mat.
Hidden Journaling reads;
Being single and being a single parent hasn't been easy. Watching Bret go on with his life and mine feeling like it's at a stand still has been a challenge. The one thing that takes my mind off my worries (financial, vocational, emotional, etc) is riding horses. Ironically my horse's name is “Challenge.” He is so powerful and gentle at the same time. He's large and in charge but timid and spooks easy in an unfamiliar situation. And if you're not in control you will fall. I realized he is a metaphor of what is happening in my own life. When I ride him I cannot worry about anything else but the task at hand. I feel exhilarated after a good ride where I stayed in control and accomplished a goal. I am going to be applying that principal to getting my own life and career started again. Life is a challenge but you have to enjoy the ride.
