This is a GREAT LO!! You've done a wonderful job keeping it masculine and the journaling is obviously written by someone who is close to her brother!! I love your use of the stitching, cut outs and the pp you chose! Beautifully done!!
wow Sarah, this is so pretty, I love the way you talk about your brother, and I'm loving this picture (it looks familiar, did you use it before?). Can I ask you something, I see people using chipboard all the time, but I have no clue as how to use it, do you paint it, or glue paper to it. Is it just like plain cardboard? Another beautiful one Sarah!!
Love all the stitching, the "flowers" and the journaling! The quote is GREAT....and I love the way you journaled about your brother!! Too sweet! Also like your creative title work!!
Great job with the sketch - love the flowers you added! Great pps and stitching. And the photo of Benjamin is great! But.... the journaling is my favorite - toooo sweet and very true!!! I'm so glad that you can see this in Benjamin! He's so sweet!!!! (You are too!!!) LOL! You couldn't ask for a better brother (don't tell Joshua and Adam I said that)!!!!
Another sketch- this one's from PageMaps- of course I had to change it a little as I didn't think it would be very fitting to put flowers on a page of my brother. I was inspired to do this layout about my younger brother Benjamin when I came upon this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson- "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." The title was done using Scenic Route chipboard. The chipboard and embellies look black on here but they are actually a dark brown IRL. Did a little stitching with the sewing machine- that's about the only time it gets used these days lol! Don't remember who the PP is by- I think it's some we've had forever..anyway..thanks so much for looking!!!
