Congratulations on your new family member. It’s weird when your grandkids have kids of their own isn’t it?? I still learn and get inspiration from your layouts…love the way you created the hidden journaling that can be accessed from the top of a page protector!! I like all of the small accents that make a big impact to a finished page.
First of all, congratulations! The second, you documented your newborn great grandson amazingly! Wishing him and the whole family being healthy and happy!
Photos of my newest great grandson, Owen. I used some really old DaisyD papers for this layout. Since this is paper and not card stock, I used white card stock for the background and layered it over the paper that is the border. The hearts were die cut with nesting heart dies. Title work was designed in the Silhouette program and cut out with the Cameo. I cut it 4 times and layered it for dimension. I added some white pearl nuvo drops to the hearts and some white pen stitching. I also added some blue transparent nuvo dots above and below the top and bottom striped borders. The baby boy tag is a rub on from the DaisyD collection (I'm surprised it still worked as a rub on!) The pops of red are scraps from my stash. Banner at the top and bottom were hand cut. The top banner pulls out of the layout (I cut a slit above the white background and made a pocket on the back of the layout for the journaling to slip into). Journaling is just the details of his birth...date, time, weight, etc.... Thanks so much for stopping by!
