Use the Force

There is journaling under the "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" that reads: Josh found out that The Empire Strikes back was going to be playing at the Bagdad theater 7/3/09. To top it off, the proceeds were going to charity and it was only $5 to get in. We made plans with Evan & Ryan to be there early! After some miscommunication, Ryan, Josh, and I met Evan in line at 8:00 pm. We waited in line until 9:30, when we were finally allowed in for seating. While waiting, the 501st legion walked around dressed up as characters and posing for pictures. It was so much fun to be able to eat and drink while watching the movie. It was also fun because all throughout the movie people were commenting. When Han & Leia kissed there was "oohing" and "wooing". When we first saw Yoda there was all kinds of cheering and clapping. It was one of the most fun movie experiences I've ever had!
