This is for the April 2 pg sketch challenge and the Clean & Simple challenge which was to use Indian summer colors and do some distressing. The photo isn't very good, but I distressed the tan papers with brown ink.
This is the picture, postcards and brochures from our visit to the National Archives.
The journaling reads:
While in DC, we wanted the kids to get in as much of our country's history in one day as possible. One of the best places to do this is the National Archives. There was a long wait to get in, but it was worth the wait to see the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the Emancipation Proclamation. It was also fun to see how all our country's documents are archived and preserved.
