Watermelon Daze!

Okay, you can see that my eldest is a ham for the cam! My youngest usually has a stern look on his face. I used to try to get him to smile in his picts, but I realized that this is just who he is!

Trying to beat the summer heat, we cut open a watermelon.

I used red cardstock with a printed paper of small watermelons to create the background paper.

For the WM at the top of the page ... I took a pc of red and green and adhered them together. I blended the lines between them with chalk. For the seeds I used small black letters that on the "W" spell w-a-t-e-r and on the "M" spell m-e-l-o-n.

I was at a loss as to what else, if anything, I should do with the page for journaling. I thought about putting something like ... "This is what happens when you eat too much watermelon"....any thoughts?

I just put the date in lowercase letters.
