The room would be decorated
Not with pillows, throws, and candles
But with your scent, your giggles,
In the corner, a pair of your baby sandals.
I could go to this room
And feel your tiny arms
Wrapped around my neck;
Once again, mesmerized by your charm.
This place does not exist but
It is not a room;
It is my heart, filled with your soul.
It is an escape from the gloom.
As I proudly watch you grow
Smarter, stronger, taller, every day
I know that no matter where you go,
No matter how far away,
This place of magical memories
