Give a Cheer
Here we go -- this is the first of many zoo LO's I have coming up from 2008. I had just gotten my DSLR, and this is the first day I used it. New camera + 3 trips to 2 zoos = lots of photos & LO's.
This is Brookfield Zoo outside Chicago, February 24, 2008. We are members of this zoo, so we have been following some of these animals for years, particularly the gorillas and orangutans (and the polar bears - coming up in a couple other LO's).
I also decided it was time to use up or get rid of some of the zillions of zoo stickers I've accumulated over the years and never use. These are pretty baby-ish, but I think they are so cute, I couldn't get rid of them. I popped a few up with foam tape to try and update them a little. I also used the animal name stickers from the sheet with a scrap of brown pp to make the signpost. Cassie is only 10 here so I can just barely get away with these.
