Don't be embarrassed by uneven stitching! That is part of the charm and depth I believe. Your own hand created it, and you daughter will cherish that forever. I really like the green and natural browns together.
this is such a great story and page. i have the same issues and wonder the same things. life has a way of working these things out though. i love the layering and bling.
I'm lovin' the burlap, too!!! And the stitching {{{SNIFF!!!}}} But, DANG, Mi...look how much LOLA LOOKS LIKE MINI MOMMY!!! And you're a great Mommy! You'll know when to hold her...know when to walk away and let her learn for herself!!!
My relationship with my father is constantly changing. Now that I have a daughter of my own I'm perplexed by new issues and silnces between us. I look at Lola and wonder will I make the same mistakes? Will I allow HER to make mistakes of her own? I created this page out of scraps from previous projects- papers I love so much I was glad to give them another chance to shine. This is my first attempt at straight line stitching. I burst out laughing when I saw the finished product and noticed how uneven they were. I TOTALLY cheated by using photoshop to straighten out the lines as much as possible. :)
