This is one of those layouts I just loved creating and those are the best! I started by cutting a lot of stars of varying sizes from white cardstock. I then just started gluing them only my background cardstock. When I had them all glued down I went over them with clear gesso. And when it was dry I came in with some Ranger distress grit paste. You can see the effect of that in the close ups...it's such a cool technique! Once the grit paste was dry I picked 2 gorgeous colors of Shimmerz Paints to add some color to my background. I used Shimmerz "Pool Me Closer" and "Celery" and I was careful to let my colors dry good between layers so they would blend but not mix completely. I wanted the blue and the green to have places. Pictures really don't do justice to how well these 2 colors work together. A few different types of stars to create my clusters and some art stones and my layout is finished. And of course the star of the show are the sweet pictures of my grandson!
