DS Kyle graduated from Marine Corps Bootcamp on 8-31-07. It was a very proud moment for me and a sad one at the same time. The only mode of communication that we had during that time was snail mail. Seeing him for the first time in 13 weeks was a realization that he's grown and that I could not protect him any longer. It will be him that protects me; that protects us all. I'm so VERY proud of my precious "baby bird" (can't help it... he may be a Marine but I can still call him by his nickname! LOL!)
