SHCG: You really have outdone yourself with this one! The pp's and layering, the way the journaling looks, LOVE the swirlies...i could go on and on. I cant think of anything to change, this is great as is.
SHCG: Wow, im glad you did this instead!! Great layering of paper with the florishes placed nicely at either end, very balanced. Really really love how the photo is off center of the matt, thats my favourite thing. The wavey journaling is something else as well, you've really thought outside the box!!
SHCG: Wow, you really cranked them out this month and with such eclectic style! This really is a sweet page. The layering is great. The flourishes are pretty. The pps are very well coordinated. I love the title work and the typed wavy journaling strips. It also looks like you reversed some of the eyelets, so that some of them would have that broken look, and I love that idea. The only suggestion I can give worth considering is to bring in a little more white and have the petals of half a white flower peeking out from the bottom right corner of the argyle pp (either over or under it); or two little white flowers next to each other on the bottom right corner of the page.
SHCG: OMG, this is going into my favorites! I love the variety in your patterned papers, but that isn't even what I love the most. I adore the embellished swirls, the wavy journaling strips, and the eyelets that create a frame around that fabulous picture. They are fantastic and really add a lot to this layout! This is beautiful and I think you did a fantastic job!
SHCG - Wow, Melizza, what a wonderful take on that sketch. I love the color & pp combos on this page. The cut swirls, different fonts, wavy journaling strips & eyelets-matte are simply delightful! I'd maybe move the flower a tad down, just to make the top margin a little more equal to the bottom (SHCG has made me more margin-conscious than I had ever been) but that is such a tiny thing. Truly, this is friggin awesome as is. Terrific work!
SHCG: I love it, love it, love it! Love the pp , the colors, the swirls - amazing( did you make them?), the photo, everything is amazing! I wouldn't change a thing!
I used this sketch too - it's a good one! Great take on it! I love all the colours (I'm not brave enough to try these darker shades) and I love the spotty flower on the bigger one! Sweet pic!
SHCG: You are always so good at putting multiple patterns of paper together. The color combinations on these are fantastic. I also really like how your journaling strips turned out. I agree with Jessica on moving the flower down and to the right...I think it would look really nice tucked right in under the "S". I think a date would also be good on this page. What if you made a date out of the same journaling strip and put it on the bottom right...maybe right above the tail of the swirl? Super sweet picture!
SHCG: Melissa, I really like how this turned out. I love the color combinations you chose. The effect you did on the picture looks great. I love all of the eyelets around the frame of the picture. Those paper swirlies are awesome, did you make them?? these papers look familiar, i think we have the same paper pack. I love the wavey journaling strips. I think i would maybe move the flower down just a tad and in to the right a little so it's in with that block. But this is really a great page.
I'm not usually much for sketches, but I wanted to try a few different styles and broaden my horizons a little. I found a sketch at http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/150887/view/967597/-1/0/1.html and decided to see what I came up with. I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
