This is the open mini accordian album w/ the journaling. The scan has made the heidi grace green pp a little more neon looking than it really is.

After I had this page all done, I was thinking that the ages of the kids seemed kind of off. I checked the date again, and, what do you know? They were!! I thought this zoo trip was march '03, but it was really sep. '03.
I considered redoing the journaling, but my printer ran out of ink immediately after I got this printed. So, I figured I'd just make the corrections by hand. Anyway, it gives it character, huh!!??

HOGLE ZOO March (actually sep.) 2003
Meg * Austin, 4 * Noah, 2
Beth * Tagen, 1

I forgot my camera so my sister Beth was nice enough to take a few pictures for me.

OK...I've got to tell it like it is...for whatever reason, probably the amount of energy involved, it's really hard to talk me into doing fun stuff like this. I try, though, for my kids! I want them to get to do fun stuff, even though their mom's a party-pooper!!
I love the pictures of me and Austin and Noah in the bird habitat. We bought popsicle sticks with birdseed on them, and the birds would fly right at you and eat the seed off of the stick. You can tell in the bottom right picture that it was kind of scarry at first. Austin (now 6) saw me working on this page and he said "That's me, and I'm scared." In the top pic. of Austin you can tell he's decided it's not TOO bad. (but he's still a little hesitant.)
Just now when I looked at the picture on the right side (the one with Noah, Beth, and Tagen) I noticed Noah with the bag of Cheetos. He's always loved Cheetos!!
In the bottom left picture you can see my feet at the bottom of the sign. I was holding Austin up to put his face through the hole, since he wasn't tall enough. I didn't realize my feet would show. It's kind of funny though. The shoes that Noah is wearing are an 8 1/2. He had big feet. In this picture he is 2 1/4 years old.
The bottom middle picture is a mommy tiger nursing her baby tiger. I don't know if any one else really cared, but Beth and I thought it was adorable.
