What a great idea for the "Births" page...I have an old family Bible, that lists births and deaths...this gives me an idea on how to use copies from it...thanks!
All of these pages are inspirational! My grandmother just gave me copies of all of our old family photos and I couldn't think of how to begin to do a heritage album. You've given me some great ideas. All your pages are just beautiful.
This isn't the original Bible birth record page, but as you can see even the copy is pretty old. I think it was made on the very first Xerox machine. The journaling lists the children of my great-grandparents, and then reads: After their marriage in 1868, Thomas and Mary had seven children. My grandfather, Thomas Walter Garrett, was their sixth child. Sometime after his birth in 1880. the family migrated to Milam County, Texas. At the time of the 1910 Census, Thomas J. and Mary were living in the household of my grandfather. Even though I have been unable to find a record of their deaths, I assume they are buried in Milam County, but I don't know where. As with a couple other early pages from my heritage, I have used a picture out of a history book to illustrate my page.
