this lo is for a challenge for the forbidden city sisters support group-it had to be a lo about traditions,thanks for looking
journaling-the tradition i want to share does'nt actually involve the whole family.about 6 years ago my mom and me decided to go to a quilt show at the arboretum in asheville n.c. boy was that the start of something great.we have been every year since and my daughter,beth,has started going with us.it is a very slow relaxing day.we get to see all the beautiful quilts made by very talented people,then there is time to relax on the veranda and have coffee and desserts.after we finish looking and eating there is a beautiful garden to be seen,they call it the quilt garden,shaped like a quilt.i can hardly wait until next year,its one of the best days of my years.
