Journaling (written by DS's teacher): Jonathan is receiving the Steadfast Scholar Award today. The Steadfast Scholar recognizes students who will always try to do their best. Jonathan is such a student. He will work diligently at his assignments, ask questions if he doesn't understand, and will work to correct any mistakes. Jonathan will always try to do his very best and the growth he has made this year is a reflection of how hard he works. He even took this "never give up" quality to the ice skating rink yesterday during our field trip. He kept getting up after falling down and kept trying his best until he was skating rings around people. Jonathan, I am proud of how hard you work in the classroom when trying new things!
