This is a lo I did with a few (still lots more!!!) of the homemade embellishments that Michelle sent me in our Holiday Swap. Se sent me the tree and the ornaments!
I wanted the lo to sort of resemble a postage stamp, so I used a shell punch around the edges of my red pp and then used my trimmer to trim it down to look like a large postage stamp. I matted it onto dark green cs and outlined the edges of the pp with a black marker. I matted all three pics onto a piece of brown cs, then trimmed aroud the edges so that all the pics were one unit. I used a copper paint pen on the brown cs, then edged aroud the pics and the matting with a black pen. I used a white pen to give a slight frame to each pic and used rub-ons to add the kids' names to the pics. The title is vellum and I adhered it with copper mini brads, the edged the title with the black marker. I also, outlined the tree and ornaments and year with the black marker. I added a double layer of gold ribbon to "hang" the ornaments on the page.
