Beautiful choice in verse & gorgeous picture! I can completely picture you there strolling or sitting among it's gentle peace & serenity! And just think Miss Karen, this isn't even an ounce of the beauty that He is still busy preparing just for all of us! ;)
I especially love this one because it is so different from your other pages. I love your vibrant and bold style, but in this page nature takes center stage. And perhaps because I live in Japan, the page just speaks to me. Excellent work - not just here, but throughout your gallery. I'm so glad I stopped by here to take a peak. You have given me much inspiration today!
this is awesome! i love how you have used those wonderful papers for a fall lo!!! It really works great! Have you thought about submitting to BasicGrey?? I would give it a whirl... it is a beautiful lo! tfs :)
The papers are perfect with the photo and you've done a great job with your design using some pretty busy paper. I have a very hard time using paper like that and this is beautiful.
Oh gorgeous! I love the BG here, its sort of unexpected, but it works really well. Magnificent photo, and the floral cluster is amazing. Worderful job.
before I was reading your description I was thinking how wonderful your choice of pp's were as they weren't fall colours, and yet they are perfect for this glorious photo. so creative Karen.....beautiful in every way, including the verse. I would just love to see these gardens in person but unfortunatly I can't see myself visiting Oregon anytime soon.
Wow Karen, I`m so impressed by the photo and of course of your beautiful design that makes this photo to pop up! All I can say is that I admire the page totally!
WOW, Karen, this is such a resplendent layout!!!!!!!!!!!! That photo is breathtaking, and you showcased it perfectly with the gorgeous papers and fabulous design!! We just had landscapers build a Japanese garden for our front yard!!
The photo in this LO was taken at The Japanese Gardens in Portland, Oregon. The gardens are glorious any season of the year, but my most frequent visits were in the fall. It would be impossible to calculate the number of hours I've spent walking these paths, picnicking with friends, and enjoying God's handiwork (with the help of some skilled botanical artists!). If you are ever in the Portland, OR area, be sure to put these gardens on your list of places to see. You won't be sorry!
This LO was done for the Jesus Girlz Faithbooking challenge. We were encouraged to use fall colors and include a favorite verse or passage from the Bible. My text is a little hard to read: Psalm 25:4-5, "Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."
Thanks for looking!
The Basic Grey Porcelain papers aren't exactly fall colors, but I thought they went so well with this photo and I added some leaves from The Dollar Tree and some Heidi Swapp flowers to add to the fall feeling.
Products used: Heidi Grace rub-ons Heidi Swapp flowers fall leaves - The Dollar Tree polka dot brad - Bazzill Bazzill cardstock
