I would have N*E*V*E*R thought to cut the background paper like you did. How creative and it W*O*R*K*S so great with all the embellies and photos! What another nice tribute page ... well done! BTW ... I just did an Alzheimer's page with my son who is six years old and his almost 90 year old great grandma. If you get the chance, check it out, let me know what you think. =)
This is such a poignant page....beautifully rendered. Love that you hand journaled the touching story behind the LO. PRECIOUS photos~ Nice composition, like the brads. God bless your family~
This is such a beautiful and special page!! I love your design, especially the way you split the diecut paper. Your journaling is very touching too. My Mom had dementia and passed away last year, I understand how important it is to make the most of every memory and moment with your Dad...you've done a beautiful job of this.
A couple years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Sometimes he remembers times we spent together, but usually he forgets. I made this layout after we took him to a local park and walked and fed the geese. Sadly, I doubt he remembers this lovely day, now. But we do, and maybe someday these pages will help me remember special moments like this. (BTW, the word "Gido" in the journalling means Grandfather in Ukrainian.)
