I don't think it's ugly. My philosophy is, why spend a lot of money for a storage item if you can make something yourself that works just as well and is inexpensive? I'd rather spend my money on supplies! And if your hubby does build you a ribbon, cabinet, I'd like to see it too. Happy scrapping!

I think this a smart way to store your ribbon. Have you thought about a clear hard plastic lid with small slits cut so you can pull ribbon through? That would tidy -it-up, and keep ribbon from collecting dust. If your husband makes a ribbon cabinent-please post it. Thanks for shareing.

I know its ugly, but it took me 5 minutes to make. I am hoping and praying for better storage soon. Husband says he might build me a ribbon cabinet. We will see!
