This layout is for the February BOM challenge. We were supposed to write about how we met our significant other. Technically I fulfilled the requirement by journaling how Hubby and I met, but I mainly focused on our wedding. The journaling is written on the heart that I cut out using my Silhouette. It can be pulled out from behind the flap I made with the papers under the picture.
The journaling, which is written on the front and back of the heart reads: We met on the set of Bus Stop in '03. I played Cherie {quote from play - It's sure scary when you kiss for real} and you played Carl {quote from play - I like a man with big hands}. You proposed to me in Amsterdam in '06 and we knew we wanted to be married in October, our favorite month. We wanted to be married some place that held special meaning for us and finally decided on a private room at Rudy Lechners, the restaurant where we had our first date. We were married surrounded by 22 family members and closest friends, in a candle-lit room with the scent of flowers perfuming the air. I was so nervous and so was Randy. I don't know who was holding whose hand more tightly! But we made it through the ceremony and enjoyed several hours of good food and great conversation. Rudy came in to toast us and brought musicians to play for us. We then left to honeymoon at the Four Seasons. We enjoyed the first morning of our marriage having brunch at Brennans.
The papers are from the Paris Nights collection by GCD Designs. The flourishes are Prima.
