Beautiful! How much do I love the fact that you altered the colour of the dress?? You've got it bad...but it was all worth it in the name of a beautiful layout!
Such a great photo, and you gave it the perfect title! I like your design. Isn't the Cricut cool? I like what you did with the leftover piece from the frame as your background paper.
Awww, this is so sweet!! Love what you did with the Cricut!!...very clever use of the negative! And you did a great job with these colors, very bright and Springy!!..hope it helped with the Winter Blues!!
I love this lo!! So gorgeous!!!!!!!! The photo is great too.. cool that you made her dress match!! I love the little circles at the bottom!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it! Everything about it is cute! I also LOVE that you changed the color on the dress. I did that w/ a Christmas pic I took of my girls. I hated one of their shirts (brt. yellow, soooooo not Christmasey) so I changed it to a soft peachy color to go better with the deep reds and greens in the pic. They thought I was a lunatic. . . glad to know I'm not alone!
This totally brightened up my non-spring day!!! Here it's still slushy and brown, even a bit of snow falling. Gorgeous photo! What an amazing shot. Love how you designed the cut paper with your Cricut. Really wouldn't have thought to put teal and green together like this, but it looks fantastic!
Today is the first day of Spring and we just got 4 inches of snow and it's very cold. Spring in the Rocky Mountains is highly anticipated, but sometimes slow to bloom. The creation of this layout was to squelch my winter blues and get ready for the change of seasons. Bo Bunny is running a color challenge on their blog in which you need to use Green, Cream or White and Aqua. Click here for more details. I used the Alissa collection from last Spring that came in my previous April Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. I also used my Cricut Expressions and the Home Accent cartridge to make the green die cut paper. I incorporated the negative part of what I cut out instead of the primary shape to give my layout a lot of texture and dimension. I'm having so much fun with the cutter. So many possibilities... TFL.
The photo is of my sister and brother in law and was taken to celebrate their engagement by their friend Jensen. They found those amazing trees in Austin, Texas and I just love this photo. For the record, I did slightly alter the color of my SILs dress to match the papers...I know... it is part of my OCD tendencies with matching. LOL!
