I had to make a double page for these photos as I couldn't decide which ones to miss out – I love the sparkly expression on my son's face as he saw his cake for the first time and blew out his candles. I don't normally make pages quite this bright but decided to rise to the challenge of ‘bright colours' and see what happened. The papers ended up being from Christmas ranges – but I don't think that matters!
